Designed for direct inline connection between two female-threaded process components, manifolds, or pump ports, our Stainless Steel 2-Way Male-to-Male Ball Valves eliminate intermediate pipe couplings. Built from ASTM A479 Grade 316/316L solid bar stock and rated up to 500 Bar (6,000 / 10,000 PSI), they feature precision-machined male threads, blowout-proof stems, and low-torque quarter-turn actuation.
The Stainless Steel 2-Way Ball Valve Male to Male features external male pipe threads (NPT or BSPP) on both inlet and outlet ports. It is engineered for direct inline coupling between two female-threaded system components—such as between a female pump port and female filter header—eliminating two separate male hex nipples.
By integrating male threads directly onto both body ends, this valve eliminates two complete threaded pipe joints, halving potential leak points, reducing structural cantilever bending stress, and minimizing space requirements on compact mobile test skids and hydraulic equipment.
Manufactured by Pioneer Industries Mumbai, our Male-to-Male SS Ball Valves are trusted by fluid power engineers, chemical plants, and pipeline builders worldwide.
Precision CNC-machined from solid ASTM A479 Grade 316/316L bar stock with micro-honed internal spherical ball cavities, every production batch is 100% hydrostatically and pneumatically tested in accordance with API 598 and BS EN 12266-1.

Expert engineering insights and technical guidance regarding pressure ratings, end connections, seat formulations, quality standards, and installation protocols for Stainless Steel 2-Way Ball Valve Male to Male.
A Stainless Steel 2-Way Ball Valve Male to Male is a high-pressure inline shutoff valve with externally threaded male connections (NPT or BSPP) on both inlet and outlet ports. It is installed directly between two female-threaded system components—such as between a female pump discharge port and a female pipeline strainer, or between two female manifold distribution headers—eliminating the need for two separate male hex nipples.
Using a male-to-male ball valve eliminates two threaded pipe joints per installation. This cuts potential leakage points by half, reduces physical weight and cantilever bending overhang, prevents stress concentrations that cause fatigue failure in vibrating pump loops, and saves substantial assembly space inside compact machine enclosures.
Standard production covers working pressure ratings from 150 Bar up to 500 Bar (6,000 PSI series) across sizes from 1/4" to 2". For ultra-high-pressure hydraulic circuits and test stands, we also manufacture custom 10,000 PSI (690 Bar) configurations from forged ASTM A182 F316/F316L or solid 316 bar stock.
Our valve features a precision-spherical floating ball positioned between two pre-compressed polymer seats. Line pressure from either male port pushes the ball downstream into tight contact with the opposing seat, amplifying sealing force proportionally as fluid pressure rises. This design provides Class VI bubble-tight shutoff regardless of flow direction.
Standard valves feature heavy-duty AISI 304 stainless steel lever handles fitted with high-visibility vinyl grip sleeves. For safety-critical plant zones, Pioneer Industries provides optional pad-lockable handle latching brackets (Lockout/Tagout - LOTO) to prevent unauthorized valve operation in either fully open or fully closed positions.
Yes. Because Pioneer Industries operates modern multi-axis CNC turn-mill centers, we can manufacture hybrid male-to-male valves with unequal sizes (e.g., 1/2" Male NPT inlet x 1/4" Male NPT outlet) or unequal standards (e.g., 1/2" Male NPT x 1/2" Male BSPP) to serve as both an inline shutoff valve and an adapter fitting.
Grade 316/316L contains 2.0% to 3.0% Molybdenum and higher nickel content, which significantly enhances resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-rich atmospheres, seawater splash zones, and acidic chemical environments compared to 304 stainless steel. The low carbon content (0.03% max in 316L) prevents chromium carbide precipitation during welding or hot exposure.
In accordance with API 598 and BS EN 12266-1, each valve is mounted in a pneumatic test rig, closed, and subjected to 6 Bar dry nitrogen pressure on one port while the opposite port is monitored under water for bubble formation. Zero bubbles over a 60-second dwell time are required to pass Class VI bubble-tight certification.
Pioneer Industries offers comprehensive soft goods repair kits containing virgin PTFE or PEEK seats, stem packing chevron rings, body O-rings, and Belleville springs. To service, relieve system pressure, disassemble body end caps, inspect ball sphere for scratches, replace polymer components, and re-torque end bolts in an alternating star pattern to factory torque values.
Yes. Every valve has its material heat code laser-etched onto the body. We supply complete EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates that report exact chemical composition via optical emission spectrometry, mechanical tensile/yield properties, hardness, and pressure test verification signed by qualified QA inspectors.
