Engineered for multi-port fluid flow diverting, mixing, and stream selection, our Stainless Steel 3-Way Female-to-Female Ball Valves feature L-Port (90° diverter) or T-Port (mixing / trans-flow) configurations. Operating up to 500 Bar (6,000 / 10,000 PSI) with three female NPT or BSPP ports, they replace multiple 2-way valves and tee fittings in chemical dosing, sampling, and hydraulic loops.
The Stainless Steel 3-Way Ball Valve Female to Female features three female threaded ports (NPT or BSPP) arranged for versatile multi-port fluid routing. Available in L-Port (90° flow diverter) or T-Port (flow mixing / trans-flow) configurations, a single 3-way valve replaces two separate 2-way valves and an intermediate tee fitting.
Pioneer Industries engineers an advanced 4-seat trunnion-supported or encapsulated seat architecture, providing balanced sealing across all three ports. This eliminates internal cross-port blow-by regardless of which port experiences higher line pressure, maintaining bubble-tight isolation up to 500 Bar (7,250 PSI).
Manufactured by Pioneer Industries Mumbai, our 3-Way Female Ball Valves are widely exported to chemical plants, oil refineries, and automated skid builders worldwide.
Machined from solid ASTM A479 Grade 316/316L stainless steel bar stock with blowout-proof stems and laser-etched directional flow handles, each valve undergoes multi-stage hydrostatic and pneumatic testing across all 3 ports certified to EN 10204 Type 3.1.

Expert engineering insights and technical guidance regarding pressure ratings, end connections, seat formulations, quality standards, and installation protocols for Stainless Steel 3-Way Ball Valve Female to Female.
In an L-Port (90° diverter) ball valve, the ball features a 90° internal flow passage connecting the common center port to either the left or right port alternately, serving as a clean flow diverter or selector. In a T-Port (trans-flow/mixing) ball valve, the ball has a T-shaped passage connecting all three ports simultaneously for mixing, or connecting the center port to left/right, or straight-through flow. Pioneer Industries supplies both configurations based on client process requirements.
Traditional low-cost 3-way valves utilize only 2 seats, which can allow fluid blow-by into the unseated port when backpressure occurs. Pioneer Industries engineers an advanced 4-seat encapsulated design with spring-energized polymer seats supporting the ball from all four quadrants. This ensures balanced sealing on all three female ports and prevents cross-port leakage regardless of which port experiences higher pressure.
Our Stainless Steel 3-Way Female Ball Valves are rated up to 500 Bar (6,000 PSI / 10,000 PSI options) across all three ports. Because of the balanced four-seat architecture, full system pressure can be introduced through any of the three ports without causing seat extrusion or internal bypass.
The valve is equipped with a heavy-duty stainless steel handle featuring a laser-etched port flow diagram and positive 90° or 180° mechanical stops. The operator can visually verify exactly which flow path is active at a glance, preventing hazardous misrouting of volatile or corrosive media.
Yes. Our 3-way valves can be supplied with an ISO 5211 direct-mount automation pad or bracket kit. They are frequently automated with double-acting or spring-return pneumatic 90°/180° actuators, digital electro-pneumatic positioners, and explosion-proof limit switch boxes for automated batch mixing and sampling.
The body and end caps are precision-machined from solid ASTM A479 / A276 Grade 316/316L bar stock or ASTM A182 forgings. The ball is diamond-turned 316 stainless steel micro-finished to Ra < 0.2 µm. Stems are blowout-proof 316 stainless steel with live-loaded Belleville spring packing. Optional materials include Duplex 2205, Super Duplex 2507, and Hastelloy C276.
Our precision-machined valve bodies feature minimal dead cavity space around the ball sphere. For sanitary, pharmaceutical, and high-purity chemical applications, cavity-filled PTFE seat options are available that fully encapsulate the ball, eliminating stagnant pockets where bacteria, polymers, or particulate could accumulate.
Flow coefficient (Cv) values depend on orifice bore and port geometry. In standard full-port 1/2" valves, 90° diverted flow exhibits a Cv of approximately 4.5 to 6.2, while 1" valves provide Cv values around 14.0 to 18.5. Dimensional tables provide exact flow coefficients across all size increments.
Each valve undergoes 1.5x hydrostatic shell testing and multi-stage 6 Bar nitrogen seat leak testing across all three ports in every operating position (diverted left, diverted right, and center). Testing strictly complies with API 598, BS EN 12266-1, and MSS-SP-99, verified on the EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificate.
Primary applications include dual-filter/strainer bypass systems, automated chemical dosing manifolds, gas chromatography stream switching, heat exchanger bypass lines, hydraulic pilot control circuits, and multi-tank filling and draining systems across chemical, offshore, and pharmaceutical plants.
