01 — Overview

The Brass Push to Lock Male Connector (male straight stud adapter) manufactured by Pioneer Industries is the most widely deployed pneumatic fitting across industrial automation. Designed to couple metric flexible tubing directly into female threaded solenoid valve ports, cylinder caps, FRL manifolds, and air distribution headers, it provides a compact, low-profile, high-flow fluid interface.

Precision-machined from high-tensile extruded brass IS 319 / CW614N and plated with electroless nickel, the male connector features an internal 304 stainless steel gripping collet and a precision Nitrile O-ring on the push-in side, paired with precision-cut male pipe threads (BSPT tapered per ISO 7/1, NPT per ASME B1.20.1, or BSPP parallel with captive O-ring per ISO 228) on the stud side.

02 — Product Detail

Brass Push to Lock Male Connector Supplier

Engineered to withstand rigorous assembly torques and continuous machine vibration, the Pioneer Brass Push to Lock Male Connector features an external hexagonal body machined for standard open-end wrenches. The robust metal body prevents thread stripping or port cracking under repeated tightening against female equipment ports.

Connecting tubing requires zero tools: simply push the cut tube firmly into the socket past the internal O-ring stop. Disconnecting is accomplished in seconds by depressing the circular release collar, smoothly releasing the stainless steel collet teeth without scratching or damaging the tubing outer diameter.

Features & Technical Specifications:

  • Direct Tube-to-Port Male Stud Adapter: Connects metric pneumatic tubing straight into female threaded valve manifolds, cylinders, and FRL units.
  • Precision Male Thread Profiles: Available in tapered BSPT (ISO 7/1), tapered NPT (ASME B1.20.1), and parallel BSPP (ISO 228 with captive O-ring).
  • Solid Hexagonal Wrench Flats: External hex profile allows rapid wrench tightening in high-density manifold bays without body distortion.
  • High Pressure & Full Vacuum Capability: Operates smoothly from -750 mmHg industrial vacuum up to 16 Bar (230 PSI) positive pneumatic pressure.
  • Clean Tool-Free Tube Release: Multi-tooth 304 stainless steel collet releases instantly when the collar is depressed, preserving tube life.

Frequently Asked Questions – Brass Push to Lock Male Connector

Expert engineering insights and technical guidance regarding flow dynamics, pressure thresholds, tubing compatibility, and installation protocols for Brass Push to Lock Male Connector.

A Brass Push to Lock Male Connector is a straight adapter with male pipe threads on one end and a push-in tube socket on the other. It is threaded into a female port using an open-end wrench, after which tubing is simply pushed into the socket by hand.

We offer male threads in tapered BSPT (ISO 7/1), tapered NPT (ANSI/ASME B1.20.1), and parallel BSPP/G (ISO 228) with integrated sealing O-rings in sizes from 1/8" to 1/2".

Certified for positive working pressures up to 16 Bar (230 PSI / 1.6 MPa) with proof pressure exceeding 35 Bar, and coarse industrial vacuum down to -750 mmHg (-29.5 inHg).

Compatible tubing includes Nylon (PA6, PA11, PA12), Polyurethane (PU 95A/98A), Polyethylene (LDPE/HDPE), and Fluoropolymer (PTFE/FEP/PFA) metric lines.

First vent all line pressure to 0 Bar. Press the circular release collar squarely toward the fitting body, then withdraw the tubing smoothly from the port.

The series covers metric tube outer diameters 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm paired with 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" male threads.

All-metal brass connectors provide superior thread shear strength, will not crack when torqued into metal ports, and resist mechanical damage from vibrating machinery.

Standard Nitrile (NBR) seals operate between -20°C and +80°C (-4°F to +176°F). Optional high-temperature Viton (FKM) seals are available for up to +150°C.

For tapered BSPT and NPT threads, apply 2-3 wraps of PTFE tape or thread sealant. Parallel BSPP male threads feature a captive elastomeric O-ring that seals against the female port face without tape.

All dispatches include ISO 9001:2015 quality compliance, 100% bubble leak test verification records, and authentic EN 10204 Type 3.1 Material Test Certificates.
