01 — Overview

The Brass Push to Lock Male Y (male Y splitter) manufactured by Pioneer Industries is a specialized pneumatic manifold fitting designed to divide a single male threaded air supply port into two smoothly diverging push-in tube runs. With dual output ports oriented at an acute angle, it delivers significantly lower turbulence and pressure drop compared to conventional 90-degree branch tees.

Hot-forged from high-tensile brass IS 319 / CW614N and plated with electroless nickel, the male Y fitting features a precision-cut male pipe thread (BSPT tapered per ISO 7/1 or NPT per ASME B1.20.1) on the inlet stem and two push-to-lock sockets on the outlet branches. Each tube port contains a 304 stainless steel collet and Nitrile O-ring, delivering bubble-tight sealing up to 16 Bar pressure and vacuum down to -750 mmHg.

Brass Push to Lock Male Y Supplier

Engineered for dense pneumatic panels, the Pioneer Brass Push to Lock Male Y provides unmatched mechanical strength and vibration resistance. Unlike lightweight plastic branch tees that warp or crack under thread torque, our forged brass body withstands heavy wrench forces and dynamic air pulsation without deformation.

Connecting tubing requires zero tools: simply push the cut tube firmly into the socket past the internal O-ring stop. Disconnecting is accomplished in seconds by depressing the circular release collar, smoothly releasing the stainless steel collet teeth without scratching or damaging the tubing outer diameter.

Features & Technical Specifications:

  • Streamlined 2-Way Y Splitting: Diverges single male threaded air supply into two tubing lines with minimal flow turbulence.
  • Direct Port Mounting Male Stem: Threads directly into solenoid valve ports, air manifolds, and pressure regulator outlets.
  • Solid Forged Brass Construction: Resists mechanical stress, thread overtightening, and intense industrial machinery vibration.
  • Dual One-Touch Push-In Sockets: Independent 304 stainless steel collets and Nitrile O-rings ensure leak-free retention on both branches.
  • Electroless Nickel Plating Protection: Shields surfaces against moisture, compressor lubricants, and chemical washdowns.

Frequently Asked Questions – Brass Push to Lock Male Y

Expert engineering insights and technical guidance regarding flow dynamics, pressure thresholds, tubing compatibility, and installation protocols for Brass Push to Lock Male Y.

A Brass Push to Lock Male Y has a male threaded inlet stem that splits into two diverging push-in tube sockets. Its streamlined acute-angle internal geometry provides smoother laminar flow, higher Cv, and less pressure drop than a 90-degree branch tee.

The male stem is available in tapered BSPT (ISO 7/1) and tapered NPT (ANSI/ASME B1.20.1) in sizes 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2".

Rated for continuous positive working pressures from 0 to 16 Bar (0 to 230 PSI / 1.6 MPa) with proof pressure exceeding 35 Bar, and vacuum down to -750 mmHg (-29.5 inHg).

Fully compatible with metric Nylon (PA6, PA11, PA12), Polyurethane (PU 95A/98A), Polyethylene, and Fluoropolymer (PTFE/FEP) lines.

The series accommodates metric tube sizes 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm paired with 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" male threads.

Apply 2-3 wraps of PTFE tape to the male threads, screw into the female port finger-tight, and tighten with an open-end wrench on the integrated body hex flats.

Yes. Each branch features its own 304 stainless steel collet and release collar. Either tube can be removed and reconnected without disturbing the other.

All-metal brass bodies provide high rigidity, will not crack under wrench torque, and withstand intense machine vibration and weld spatter common in industrial plants.

Standard Nitrile (NBR) seals support -20°C to +80°C (-4°F to +176°F). Optional Viton (FKM) seals support up to +150°C.

Every consignment is backed by ISO 9001:2015 certification, 100% pneumatic bubble leak testing, RoHS compliance documents, and authentic EN 10204 Type 3.1 Mill Test Certificates.
