Pioneer Industries Dip Interlock Valves mount directly onto standard manhole flanges and inspection hatch collars. The valve features a spring-loaded plunger or cam lever that is depressed when the hatch cover is closed and locked, maintaining pilot air pressure to the bottom emergency foot valve.
The moment the hatch latch is loosened, the internal return spring shifts the spool, instantly exhausting downstream pilot pressure. This guarantees that bottom valves cannot open and vapor recovery lines remain isolated whenever the tank interior is exposed to the atmosphere.
