Straight Type 2 Way Manifold Valves (Pipe to Pipe) finds deployment across a wide range of industrial fluid and gas circuits:
Allows safe online zero checking, venting, and calibration replacement of pressure transmitters without plant shutdown.
Bridges differential pressure across orifice meter runs and primary flow elements in refinery gas transmission lines.
High-temperature graphitic packed execution withstands superheated steam headers and condensate flash vessels safely.
Withstands pulsating hydraulic and pneumatic control pressures up to 6000 PSI on offshore drilling platforms.
Corrosion-resistant SS316 and Hastelloy materials prevent acid and hydrocarbon degradation in continuous sampling systems.
Dampens acoustic vibration effects on static pressure sensors mounted directly on high-pressure gas compressor skids.
Integrates with 1oo2 and 2oo3 voting transmitters in emergency shutdown (ESD) loops with complete reliability.
Super Duplex and Monel executions prevent chloride pitting and crevice corrosion in high-pressure reverse osmosis units.

Expert engineering insights and technical guidance regarding design specifications, pressure tolerances, operating mechanics, and installation best practices for industrial Straight Type 2 Way Manifold Valves (Pipe to Pipe).
The Straight Type 2 Way Manifold Valves (Pipe to Pipe) is an engineered multiport valve assembly designed to interface pressure instruments with process piping. Operating as a 2-Way (1 Block + 1 Vent) system, it permits safe isolation, venting, and zero-point calibration of pressure sensors without requiring a plant process shutdown or exposing field technicians to high-pressure line hazards.
Pioneer manifold valves are rated for a standard working pressure of 6,000 PSI (413 Bar) at 200°F (93°C), with optional heavy-duty Class 2500 executions supporting up to 10,000 PSI (689 Bar). When equipped with PTFE chevron packing, the allowable temperature range is -54°C to +232°C (-65°F to +450°F). For high-temperature steam and thermal processing, die-formed Grafoil packing extends continuous service up to +538°C (+1000°F).
Direct Mount and H-Type manifolds bolt directly to the transmitter's flanged face (DIN 19213 / IEC 61518 standard 54 mm centers), eliminating impulse piping. Remote Mount valves feature threaded female pipe connections on both inlet and outlet, allowing the transmitter to be mounted away from pipe vibration or extreme temperatures on a 2-inch pipe stand. T-Type manifolds feature flanged connections on both process and instrument faces for sandwich mounting between primary orifice taps and transmitters.
A non-rotating stem tip translates purely axial/linear movement into the valve seat during closure without rotational friction. This eliminates galling, seat wiping, and metal-to-metal scoring between the stem tip and body seat, ensuring repeated bubble-tight shutoff (API 598 zero-leak compliance) and extending bonnet service life by over 500% compared to one-piece rotating stems.
The valve stem is bottom-loaded from inside the forged valve body cavity with an integral precision-machined lower shoulder. This internal mechanical shoulder makes it physically impossible for line pressure to eject the stem, even if the packing gland is completely backed off or loosened under live process pressure up to 6,000 PSI.
Pioneer manufactures manifold bodies from high-density hot-forged ASTM A182 F316 / F316L dual-certified stainless steel as standard. For specialized corrosive services, we supply A105 Carbon Steel, Monel 400, Hastelloy C-276, Inconel 625, and Super Duplex 2507 (UNS S32750). All stainless and nickel alloys are fully heat-treated and certified compliant with NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for sour gas environments.
Process inlet ports are typically 1/2″ NPT Female or 1/4″ NPT Female. Flanged instrument interface ports adhere strictly to IEC 61518 Type A and Type B standards, featuring exact 54 mm (2-1/8″) center-to-center spacing with four 7/16″-20 UNF mounting bolt holes and precision PTFE/Viton sealing ring grooves.
Each needle valve bonnet is equipped with an ergonomic stainless steel T-bar handle with a color-coded dust cover cap: Blue for Process Isolation/Block valves, Green for Equalizer valves, and Red for Vent/Bleed/Drain valves. Optional tamper-proof padlockable handle kits are available to enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols during pipeline maintenance.
Every Pioneer manifold undergoes 100% individual pressure testing in accordance with API 598, BS EN 12266-1, and MSS-SP-99. This includes a shell hydrostatic test at 1.5 times rated working pressure (9,000 PSI for standard 6,000 PSI manifolds) and a pneumatic seat leak test using dry nitrogen at 100 PSI (7 Bar) under water to guarantee absolute bubble-tight sealing.
Every dispatched shipment is accompanied by authentic EN 10204 Type 3.1 Mill Test Certificates detailing chemical heat analysis, mechanical tensile and yield strength, Charpy impact test results, and hydrostatic test records. Raw forgings carry permanent heat-code numbers stamped directly onto the valve body for complete cradle-to-grave traceability.
