Pioneer Industries manufactures high-reliability Brass Vibra-Lok Female Stud connectors designed to connect rigid tubing to male pipe threads while absorbing severe mechanical vibration and shock. Equipped with resilient Buna-N or Viton elastomeric sleeves for leak-proof, reusable performance.
The Brass Vibra-Lok Female Stud manufactured by Pioneer Industries provides a critical transitional interface between rigid tubing runs and male-threaded pipe fittings, instrumentation probes, sensor housings, and equipment nozzles. Featuring a Vibra-Lok elastomeric tube connection on one port and a precision tapered female pipe thread (NPT or BSPT) on the opposing port, it isolates sensitive transmitters and pipe tappings from intense machine vibration.
Under harsh operating conditions involving continuous reciprocating motion, engine harmonics, or pressure surges, standard rigid compression fittings transfer vibrational stress into male pipe threads, causing fatigue failure and thread galling. The Vibra-Lok Female Stud absorbs these forces within its custom elastomeric sleeve, protecting both the tubing and male equipment threads from loosening or fracturing.
Pioneer Industries manufactures and exports Brass Vibra-Lok Female Stud components to leading industrial equipment builders, rail transit systems, marine shipbuilders, and pneumatic automation engineers across more than 85 countries. Operating from our advanced manufacturing facility in Mumbai, India, we maintain ready inventory across fractional inch and metric configurations for immediate international dispatch.
Components are precision hot-forged from BS 218 / CW617N / ASTM B124 C37700 or CNC-turned from ASTM B16 C36000 brass rod. Every batch undergoes 100% pneumatic bubble leak testing and is accompanied by authentic EN 10204 Type 3.1 Mill Test Certificates.

Machined from premium extruded ASTM B16 C36000 brass rod or hot-forged BS 218 brass, the Pioneer Brass Vibra-Lok Female Stud delivers exceptional mechanical yield strength and pressure retention. The female pipe thread end conforms to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 or ISO 7/1 standards, ensuring leak-tight Dryseal thread engagement with male pipe fittings and transducers.
The tube compression end requires zero tube flaring, threading, or brazing. Tightening the brass nut compresses the resilient Buna-N or Viton sleeve radially against the tube exterior, providing a bubble-tight pneumatic and hydraulic seal that accommodates tube flex and minor surface imperfections without leaking.
Pioneer Industries manufactures Brass Vibra-Lok Female Stud connectors in fractional tube sizes from 1/8" to 3/4" OD (Metric 4 mm to 22 mm OD) with 1/8" to 3/4" female NPT/BSPT threads. Rated up to 2,000 PSI with a 4:1 safety factor per ASME B31.3.
Explore comprehensive engineering dimensional configurations for Fractional Inch Series, Metric Series, and Certified Material Specifications. Manufactured according to ASME B31.3, ASME B1.20.1, ISO 7/1, and international standards.

Expert engineering insights and technical guidance regarding vibration damping mechanics, pressure thresholds, sleeve selection, and assembly protocols for Brass Vibra-Lok Female Stud.
A Brass Vibra-Lok Female Stud is a heavy-duty transition fitting that joins a smooth metal or plastic tube to a male-threaded pipe port. One end features a female tapered NPT or BSPT pipe thread, while the opposing end features a Vibra-Lok elastomeric cushioned tube connection. It allows engineers to mount pressure sensors, gauges, or male-threaded fittings onto vibrating lines without transmitting destructive vibrational harmonics.
Pressure transmitters and switches mounted to vibrating machinery often experience calibration drift or mechanical fatigue cracking at male thread necks. The Vibra-Lok Female Stud isolates these components because the incoming impulse tube is held within an elastomeric matrix (Buna-N or Viton) that dissipates up to 90% of dynamic vibration before it reaches the instrument threads.
Pioneer Industries provides Vibra-Lok sleeves in two distinct formulations: Standard Nitrile (Buna-N) for mineral oils, water, compressed air, and fuels between -35°C and +100°C (-30°F to +212°F); and High-Temperature Fluorocarbon (Viton / FKM) for synthetic lubricants, aggressive fuels, and elevated temperatures from -26°C to +204°C (-15°F to +400°F).
The fitting safely operates at working pressures up to 2,000 PSI (138 bar) in 1/8″ to 1/4″ tube OD sizes, 1,500 PSI (103 bar) in 5/16″ and 3/8″ OD, and up to 1,000 PSI (70 bar) in 1/2″ OD sizes. It is backed by a certified 4:1 burst safety factor per ASME B31.3. For vacuum applications, its 360-degree radial elastomeric seal holds vacuum down to 29.5 in. Hg.
When connecting a male pipe nipple or instrument thread into the female port, apply high-quality PTFE paste sealant or 2-3 wraps of PTFE tape to the male threads only. Thread the components together finger-tight, then tighten with wrenches 2 to 3 full turns past finger-tight until snug. Avoid over-torquing into the female brass hex to prevent thread splitting.
No. The tube end is 100% flareless. Cut the tubing square, deburr both inside and outside edges, slide the nut and elastomeric sleeve over the tube, push the tube into the fitting socket until it bottoms, and tighten the compression nut finger-tight plus exactly one full turn (360°) with an open-end wrench.
Yes. Unlike rigid metal ferrules that leak when tube surfaces exhibit minor scratches or axial misalignments, the resilient Vibra-Lok sleeve flows into micro-imperfections and easily accommodates up to 4 degrees of angular misalignment without weeping.
Yes. Because the elastomeric sleeve does not cut, bite, or swage a permanent ring into the tubing, the tube remains undamaged. The connection can be disconnected and reconnected repeatedly without trimming or replacing the tubing. If the sleeve shows signs of aging, it can be replaced in seconds.
Compatible tubing includes soft annealed and hard drawn copper, seamless aluminum, brass, seamless thin-wall hydraulic steel, and glass tubing. For flexible thermoplastic tubes like Nylon or Polyurethane, brass internal tube support inserts must be used to support the tube inner diameter.
Bodies are machined from ASTM B16 C36000 free-cutting brass or forged from BS 218 / CW617N brass. Every manufacturing batch undergoes 100% pneumatic underwater bubble testing at 10 bar and coordinate measuring inspection of threads, delivered with an authentic EN 10204 Type 3.1 Mill Test Certificate.
