At Pioneer Industries, we offer these Industrial Brass Compression Fitting Branch Tee with utmost functionality for your required applications. We are manufacturer, supplier of Brass Compression Fitting Branch Tee and India’s leading Brass Compression Fittings Exporters in Mumbai.
Compression fittings function by the compression of an ‘olive’ between two tapered surfaces and the pipe itself. The two surfaces are the body of the fitting (beveled seat) and the compression nut. As the nut is tightened, the olive is compressed onto the pipe, creating an airtight, watertight, zero-leak seal.
We are India’s one of the leading Brass Compression Fitting Branch Tee manufacturers and exporters to more than 85 countries for exporting and manufacturing on a large scale. All size supply maintains a massive inventory of Brass Compression Fitting Branch Tee, with all standard sizes and numerous styles available.

A Brass Compression Fitting Branch Tee is a three-way pipe-to-tube directional connector featuring an in-line straight run with two compression tube ends and a 90-degree orthogonal male threaded branch port. The compression sealing mechanism consists of three precision-machined elements: the forged brass tee body with internal tapered beveled seats, two compression sleeves (commonly termed olives), and two threaded compression nuts. As the compression nut is torqued onto the body threads, it drives the sleeve axially forward into the body's beveled recess. This camming action compresses the olive radially inward, causing it to swage and bite cleanly into the outer circumference of the metal or polymer tube while simultaneously wedging against the fitting body seat, creating a permanent, metal-to-metal, dual-interface hermetic seal capable of containing vacuum and pressure without flaring, soldering, or threading the tube itself.
The difference lies in the spatial orientation of the threaded pipe connection relative to the through-line: In a Branch Tee, the fluid enters or exits the 90-degree side branch via a male or female threaded pipe port (NPT or BSP), while the continuous straight-through run connects two tubing lines. In a Run Tee, the threaded pipe port is located coaxially on one end of the straight run, with the 90-degree side outlet and the opposite run end terminating in compression tube connections. System engineers select a Branch Tee when tapping a perpendicular take-off from an ongoing tubing header directly into a valve, regulator, or pressure gauge.
Pioneer Brass Compression Branch Tees are rated according to nominal tube outer diameter: 1/8″ and 3/16″ sizes are rated up to 400 PSI (28 bar); 1/4″ and 5/16″ sizes up to 300 PSI (21 bar); 3/8″ up to 250 PSI (17 bar); 1/2″ up to 200 PSI (14 bar); 5/8″ up to 150 PSI (10 bar); and 3/4″ up to 100 PSI (7 bar). All compression bodies are engineered with an ASME B31.3 compliant 4:1 safety factor against burst pressure. Operating temperatures range continuously from -65°F to +250°F (-54°C to +121°C) with metal-to-metal seals, governed primarily by the thermal limits of the tubing material utilized.
Pioneer compression fittings are engineered for use with seamless copper (soft annealed or half-hard per ASTM B75 / B88), brass (ASTM B135), and soft aluminum (ASTM B210) tubing. They are NOT recommended for hard steel or stainless steel tubing due to brass sleeve hardness differentials. When connecting thermoplastic tubing—such as nylon, polyurethane (PU), polyethylene (PE), or PTFE—a precision brass internal tube support insert (brass brass ferrule eyelet) MUST be inserted into the tube I.D. to prevent wall collapse and creep under radial olive compression.
Pioneer manufactures compression tee bodies exclusively from hot-forged brass conforming to BS 218 / CW617N / ASTM B283 C37700. Hot forging under high-tonnage hydraulic presses aligns the crystalline grain structure along the 90-degree fluid passages, increasing tensile and fatigue strength by over 80% compared to cast fittings. This dense grain alignment completely eliminates sand inclusions, subsurface micro-voids, and blowholes that cause premature fracture, pinhole leaks, and catastrophic failure under dynamic machine vibration and thermal cycling.
The male branch port is supplied in American National Pipe Taper (NPT per ANSI/ASME B1.20.1) or British Standard Pipe Taper (BSPT / ISO 7-1) across 1/8″, 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″ sizes. Because taper threads seal on the spiral flank interference, 2 to 3 wraps of quality PTFE tape or an anaerobic pipe sealant (such as Loctite 567/577) must be applied clockwise to the male branch threads before torquing into the mating female port.
To achieve a flawless, leak-free connection: (1) Cut the tubing perfectly square (90°) using a dedicated tubing cutter and deburr both internal and external edges; (2) Slide the compression nut onto the tube with the threaded opening facing the tube end, followed by the brass compression sleeve (olive); (3) Insert the tube into the fitting body until it firmly bottoms out against the internal stop shoulder; (4) Thread the nut onto the body finger-tight; (5) Using an open-end wrench on the nut and a backup wrench on the tee body flats, tighten the nut exactly 1-1/4 turns (1.25 turns) past finger tight for sizes 1/4″ and above, or 3/4 to 1 turn for sizes 1/8″ to 3/16″.
Yes. Pioneer compression fittings can be repeatedly disconnected and reassembled for pipeline servicing. To remake: reinsert the pre-swaged tube and olive into the fitting body, thread the nut finger-tight until positive resistance is felt, and then tighten the nut an additional 1/4 to 1/3 turn with a wrench until snug. Do NOT over-tighten during remakes, as excessive torque can deform the body seat or crush the tube.
Standard compression nuts provide fair-to-good resistance against moderate industrial vibration. For severe cyclic vibration environments—such as air compressors, diesel engine fuel pumps, commercial refrigeration condensing units, and agricultural tractors—Pioneer offers Heavy-Duty Long Compression Nuts. The extended skirt of a long nut supports the tubing past the olive bite zone, damping line oscillations, distributing flexural stress, and preventing tube fatigue failure at the fitting shoulder.
Pioneer operates an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility in Mumbai. Every production run undergoes 100% pneumatic bubble-immersion leak testing at 100 PSI (7 bar), optical comparator inspection of 24°/60° internal seat angles, and Go/No-Go thread pitch gauge validation. Shipments are supplied with authentic EN 10204 Type 3.1 Mill Test Certificates detailing chemical analysis, tensile properties, and full heat-code traceability.
