At Pioneer Industries, we offer these Industrial Brass Compression Fitting Ferrule with utmost functionality for your required applications. We are manufacturer, supplier of Brass Compression Fitting Ferrule and India’s leading Brass Compression Fittings Exporters in Mumbai.
Compression fittings function by the compression of an ‘olive’ between two tapered surfaces and the pipe itself. The two surfaces are the body of the fitting (beveled seat) and the compression nut. As the nut is tightened, the olive is compressed onto the pipe, creating an airtight, watertight, zero-leak seal.
We are India’s one of the leading Brass Compression Fitting Ferrule manufacturers and exporters to more than 85 countries for exporting and manufacturing on a large scale. All size supply maintains a massive inventory of Brass Compression Fitting Ferrule, with all standard sizes and numerous styles available.

Expert engineering insights and technical guidance regarding design specifications, pressure tolerances, olive swaging mechanics, tubing compatibility, and installation best practices for industrial Brass Compression Fitting Ferrule.
A Brass Compression Fitting Ferrule (also called an olive or compression sleeve) is a ring with beveled external tapers. When assembled inside the fitting and tightened by the compression nut, the matching angled internal seats of the nut and body squeeze the ferrule radially inward. The ferrule swages onto the outer diameter of the tube while wedging against the fitting seat, forming a permanent, dual-interface, metal-to-metal seal.
A symmetrical (barrel-shaped) olive has identical tapers on both ends, allowing it to be installed in either direction without error. A single-taper ferrule has a distinct tapered nose that must face forward into the fitting body, while the flat or squared rear face mates against the compression nut.
They are engineered for use with seamless copper (ASTM B75 / B88), brass (ASTM B135), and soft aluminum (ASTM B210) tubing. They are NOT recommended for steel or stainless steel tubing due to material hardness mismatch. For thermoplastic tubing (nylon, PU, PE), an internal brass tube support insert is required.
Once a brass ferrule is swaged onto a tube, it is permanently locked in place and cannot be moved or removed without cutting off that section of tubing. However, the tube with its swaged ferrule can be disconnected from the fitting body and remade repeatedly without leaking.
Pressure ratings match the fitting assembly: 400 PSI (28 bar) for 1/8″–3/16″ tube, 300 PSI (21 bar) for 1/4″–5/16″, 250 PSI for 3/8″, 200 PSI for 1/2″, down to 100 PSI for 3/4″ tube, with a 4:1 safety factor. Temperature capability ranges from -54°C to +150°C.
After inserting the tube until bottomed against the body stop and finger-tightening the nut, tighten exactly 1-1/4 turns past finger tight for sizes 1/4″ and above, or 3/4 to 1 turn for sizes 1/8″ to 3/16″. Do not over-tighten, as excessive torque can crush or pinch the tube.
Pioneer ferrules are CNC machined from high-purity brass conforming to BS 249 / CW614N / IS 319 Gr. 1, subjected to controlled metallurgical annealing to ensure optimal ductility for uniform circumferential swaging.
Yes. Pioneer also manufactures annealed seamless copper olives conforming to BS EN 12449, preferred in certain commercial plumbing, refrigeration, and gas piping codes for softer swaging onto copper pipe.
Inspect the assembly before final commissioning: the ferrule should grip the tube tightly so that the tube cannot be pulled out by hand, and the ferrule should not rotate freely around the tube circumference.
All batches undergo optical profile projector dimensional verification (inner diameter, outer diameter, taper angles), hardness testing, and are supplied with EN 10204 Type 3.1 Mill Test Certificates.
