At Pioneer Industries, we offer these Industrial Brass Compression Fitting Bulkhead with utmost functionality for your required applications. We are manufacturer, supplier of Brass Compression Fitting Bulkhead and India’s leading Brass Compression Fittings Exporters in Mumbai.
Compression fittings function by the compression of an ‘olive’ between two tapered surfaces and the pipe itself. The two surfaces are the body of the fitting (beveled seat) and the compression nut. As the nut is tightened, the olive is compressed onto the pipe, creating an airtight, watertight, zero-leak seal.
We are India’s one of the leading Brass Compression Fitting Bulkhead manufacturers and exporters to more than 85 countries for exporting and manufacturing on a large scale. Pioneer Industries’ Brass Compression Fitting Bulkhead are widely used in numerous industries like:
Expert engineering insights and technical guidance regarding design specifications, pressure tolerances, olive swaging mechanics, tubing compatibility, and installation best practices for industrial Brass Compression Fitting Bulkhead Union.
A Brass Compression Bulkhead fitting is a specialized dual-ended tube union designed with an elongated, fully threaded exterior body, a locking check nut, and a washer. It is mounted through a pre-drilled hole in an electrical enclosure, vehicle firewall, machine guard, or tank partition, allowing tubing lines to pass through the wall while maintaining structural rigidity and environmental isolation.
Operating pressure ratings span from 400 PSI (28 bar) for 1/8″ and 3/16″ tube sizes, 300 PSI (21 bar) for 1/4″ and 5/16″, down to 200 PSI (14 bar) for 1/2″ tubing, with a certified 4:1 safety factor against burst pressure. Operating temperatures range from -65°F to +250°F (-54°C to +121°C) with standard brass olives.
Standard Pioneer Brass Compression Bulkhead unions accommodate panel thicknesses up to 10 mm to 12 mm depending on tube size. Extended-length bulkheads for thicker panels up to 25 mm can be custom manufactured upon request.
Compatible tubing includes seamless copper (ASTM B75 / B88), brass (ASTM B135), and soft aluminum (ASTM B210). For thermoplastic tubing (nylon, polyurethane, polyethylene), an internal brass tube support insert must be utilized inside the tube bore to prevent collapse under sleeve compression.
To install: (1) Drill the panel hole matching the bulkhead thread clearance diameter; (2) Remove the locknut and washer, feed the bulkhead body through the panel, and re-thread the washer and locknut; (3) Tighten the locknut firmly against the panel using an open-end wrench; (4) Insert the tubing with nut and sleeve on each side, bottom out against the internal tube stop, and tighten the compression nuts 1-1/4 turns past finger tight.
Bulkhead bodies, locknuts, and compression nuts are precision CNC machined from high-tensile extruded brass bar stock conforming to IS 319 Gr. 1, CW614N / CZ121, and ASTM B16 C36000, ensuring high thread shear strength and zero porosity.
Yes. The compression nuts can be loosened for maintenance and retightened without replacing the pre-swaged tube and olive. When remaking, tighten finger-tight plus 1/4 to 1/3 turn with a wrench until firm resistance is felt.
The rigid panel clamp prevents external vibration from transferring across the wall, while the precision 24°/60° beveled internal seats and annealed brass olives distribute radial clamping stress uniformly, preventing notch fatigue and tube severance.
Options include natural bright brass, electrolytic bright nickel plating (5–8 µm) for oxidation protection, and electroless nickel plating (ENP, 10–25 µm) for harsh marine and chemical washdown environments.
All batches are 100% pneumatic bubble-immersion leak tested at 100 PSI (7 bar), dimensionally verified with Go/No-Go thread gauges, and shipped with EN 10204 Type 3.1 Mill Test Certificates.
