Pioneer Industries is a leading manufacturer and exporter of heavy-duty Brass Flare Male Branch Tees, engineered with two opposing in-line 45° flare tube ports and a 90-degree perpendicular male NPT pipe thread branch for high-pressure refrigeration, HVAC, and pneumatic piping circuits.
The Brass Flare Male Branch Tee manufactured by Pioneer Industries is a versatile three-way piping junction fitting. Engineered with two in-line run ports featuring precision 45° SAE male flare cones and a central perpendicular 90-degree branch port featuring tapered male national pipe thread (NPT), this fitting allows a continuous straight tubing run to tap directly into a threaded equipment boss, manifold port, or valve body.
Manufactured to SAE J512, SAE J513, and ASME B16.26 standards, each male branch tee is hot-forged from BS 218 / CW617N brass alloy. Hot forging provides an uninterrupted, continuous metallic grain flow throughout the tee geometry, delivering immense resistance to internal bursting pressure, hydraulic shock pulses, and thermal stress cycles common to refrigeration and industrial fluid systems.
Pioneer Industries supplies Brass Flare Male Branch Tees to major commercial refrigeration manufacturers, petrochemical plants, marine shipyards, and industrial automation fabricators across more than 85 countries worldwide. With massive inventory stocks in Mumbai, India, we offer immediate dispatch on all standard fractional sizes from 1/8" to 3/4" tube OD.
Each male branch tee is manufactured on state-of-the-art multi-axis CNC machines ensuring concentric flow passages, ultra-smooth 45° flare seating cones, and precision-cut NPT pipe threads. All shipments are supplied with complete EN 10204 Type 3.1 material test certificates and comprehensive pressure test reports.

Pioneer Industries’ Brass Flare Male Branch Tee simplifies complex piping layouts by eliminating the need for separate tees and pipe nipples. Technicians can thread the male NPT branch directly into a pump casing, manifold header, pressure regulator, or filter dryer, while connecting incoming and outgoing flared copper tubing runs along the straight horizontal axis.
The heavy forged brass body incorporates reinforced fillets and wide hex wrenching flats at the center, allowing secure wrench engagement when torquing the pipe thread into the port and making up the opposing flare nuts. The metal-to-metal 45° flare cone seals deliver leak-free operation without elastomeric gaskets across operating temperatures from -54°C to +121°C.
Pioneer Industries manufactures Brass Flare Male Branch Tees in sizes from 1/8" to 3/4" tube OD with 1/8" to 3/4" male NPT pipe threads. Working pressures up to 4,000 PSI (276 bar). Conforms to SAE J512, SAE J513, ASME B16.26, and BS 218 standards.

A Brass Flare Male Branch Tee is a three-way forged brass fitting that has two in-line (run) ports with 45° SAE male flare cones, and a 90-degree perpendicular (branch) port with male NPT or BSPT pipe threads. It is distinguished from a Male Run Tee, which has one flare port and one pipe port on the run, with a flare port on the branch.
The male branch tee allows a straight continuous tubing line to tap directly into a female-threaded equipment port (like a valve, pump, or tank boss) at a 90-degree angle without requiring an extra pipe nipple, elbow, or brazed adapter.
The male NPT branch features tapered threads that seal via thread interference. Apply a high-quality anaerobic PTFE paste sealant or 2 to 3 wraps of gas-approved PTFE tape to the male threads before threading it into the female equipment port.
No. Sealing on both flare run ports is 100% mechanical, created by compressing the flared copper tubing against the precision-machined 45° brass cones. Sealant must never be applied to flare threads.
Thread the male branch into the port until finger-tight, then tighten with an open-end wrench 2 to 3 full turns until the straight flare run aligns exactly with the planned tubing route. Do not reverse or back off the tee to achieve alignment.
Depending on nominal tube size, these fittings are rated for continuous working pressures between 2,500 PSI (172 bar) for 5/8" tubing and 4,000 PSI (276 bar) for 1/4" tubing, with a minimum 4:1 hydrostatic safety factor.
All Pioneer Industries branch tees are hot-forged from BS 218 / CW617N brass alloy billets. Hot forging refines the crystalline grain flow along the branches, eliminating porosities and providing maximum burst and fatigue strength.
Yes. The heavy forged construction easily handles operating pressures and cyclic thermal extremes of R-410A, R-32, R-404A, and R-134a refrigeration systems across -54°C to +121°C.
Recommended torque values are: 10–15 ft-lbs for 1/4" tube; 20–30 ft-lbs for 3/8" tube; and 35–50 ft-lbs for 1/2" tube. Always use a second wrench on the forged tee body to counter-hold while torquing the flare nuts.
Pioneer Industries provides EN 10204 Type 3.1 inspection certificates documenting chemical composition, mechanical tensile properties, and 100% factory pneumatic bubble leak testing.
