Pioneer Industries is an internationally recognized manufacturer and supplier of heavy-duty Brass Flare Male Connectors, engineered to connect 45° flared copper and brass tubing directly into female NPT, BSPT, or ISO pipe threads in high-pressure refrigeration, HVAC, and hydraulic circuits.
The Brass Flare Male Connector from Pioneer Industries is one of the most widely deployed industrial piping adapters in the world. Featuring a precision CNC-machined 45° SAE male flare cone with straight UNF threads on one end, and a tapered male national pipe thread (NPT) on the opposing end, this connector provides a dependable, leak-tight transition between flared tubing lines and female-threaded equipment ports.
Manufactured in strict adherence to SAE J512, SAE J513, and ASME B16.26 standards, our male connectors are precision-turned from high-tensile extruded brass bar stock (BS 249 / CW614N / ASTM B16 C36000) or hot-forged brass blanks (BS 218 / CW617N). The solid hexagonal center section provides ample wrenching engagement for fast, slip-free tightening during field installation.
Pioneer Industries exports Brass Flare Male Connectors to industrial equipment builders, refrigeration OEMs, oil and gas refineries, and marine contractors across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Our large automated warehouse in Mumbai maintains extensive inventory across all standard fractional inch and metric configurations.
Every fitting is manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certified quality controls, with each batch verified for thread lead accuracy, cone profile geometry, and surface micro-finish. Comprehensive material test reports conforming to EN 10204 Type 3.1 accompany every international shipment.

In industrial refrigeration, pneumatic machinery, and fluid power installations, connecting flared copper tubing to female-threaded valves, strainers, gauges, and compressor ports is an hourly requirement. Pioneer Industries’ Brass Flare Male Connector delivers an impenetrable mechanical seal on both ends: a tapered pipe thread seal on the equipment end, and an all-metal 45° compression seal on the tube end.
Because the 45° flare joint requires zero brazing, soldering, or open flame, installations can be performed safely in operating petrochemical plants, combustible gas stations, and residential environments without fire permits. The robust brass construction ensures zero degradation from synthetic POE compressor oils, moisture, or ozone.
Pioneer Industries manufactures Brass Flare Male Connectors in tube OD sizes from 1/8" to 3/4" with 1/8" to 3/4" male NPT pipe threads. Continuous operating pressures up to 5,000 PSI (345 bar). Conforms to SAE J512, SAE J513, ASME B16.26, and ASTM B16 specifications.
Explore comprehensive engineering dimensional configurations for Fractional Inch Series, Metric Series, and Certified Material Specifications. Manufactured according to SAE J512, SAE J513, ASME B16.26, and international standards.

A Brass Flare Male Connector is a straight adapter designed to connect 45° flared copper or brass tubing to a female pipe-threaded (NPT or BSPT) port in valves, cylinders, pumps, filters, and manifold headers.
On the pipe side, the tapered male NPT threads seal via thread wedging interference against female threads, requiring PTFE tape or anaerobic sealant. On the tubing side, sealing is 100% mechanical metal-to-metal, achieved when the flare nut drives the 45° flared tube against the precision-machined brass cone without any sealant.
Working pressure ratings range from 3,000 PSI (206 bar) for 5/8" tube sizes up to 5,000 PSI (345 bar) for 1/4" tube sizes. Burst pressure exceeds four times the rated working pressure (4:1 safety factor).
Yes. The body features a precision-machined hexagonal wrench flat designed to standard inch or metric wrench sizes, allowing secure torquing without slipping or rounding.
Yes. Pioneer Industries’ Brass Flare Male Connectors are fully rated for R-410A, R-32, R-404A, R-134a, and other high-pressure synthetic refrigerants across operating temperatures from -54°C to +121°C.
Always use two wrenches: one wrench to hold the hexagonal body of the male connector stationary, and a second wrench to rotate the flare nut. Never rely on the pipe thread connection to counter-hold the flare nut torque.
We manufacture these connectors from BS 249 / CW614N (ASTM B16 C36000) high-tensile brass bar stock, offering excellent machinability, tensile strength above 400 MPa, and high resistance to stress corrosion cracking.
The 45° flare end conforms to SAE J512, SAE J513, and ASME B16.26. The pipe thread end conforms to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 for standard NPT threads, or ISO 7-1 for optional BSPT threads.
Yes. The flare side can be disassembled and reassembled multiple times without losing its sealing integrity. The male NPT side can also be removed, although old sealant must be cleaned off and fresh sealant applied before re-installation.
Pioneer Industries performs 100% visual and dimensional checks, thread pitch verification with go/no-go gauges, and pressure testing in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards. EN 10204 Type 3.1 certificates are supplied with every order.
