Engineered for transitioning between process tubing and female-threaded components around 90-degree corners, Pioneer Industries Brass Double Ferrule Male Elbows deliver leak-tight swaging and vibration damping up to 5,000 PSI.
The Brass Double Ferrule Male Elbow connects an instrumentation tube to a female pipe thread at a precise 90-degree angle. It is among the most essential fittings in process piping, allowing tubing to enter female-threaded valves, manifolds, regulators, and transmitters without requiring tight, stressful tube bends.
Pioneer Male Elbows are hot-forged from high-density brass, providing robust wall thickness around the male pipe thread to resist overtightening stresses, while twin-ferrule mechanical swaging ensures a 100% leak-proof connection on the tubing port.
Manufactured by Pioneer Industries Mumbai, these male elbows are exported worldwide to process automation builders, skid manufacturers, and marine console fabricators.
Components are precision CNC-machined from premium extruded brass (IS 319 / ASTM B16 / CW614N) with micro-smooth surface finishes. Every production lot undergoes rigorous metallurgical spectrometry, optical CMM dimensional checks, and helium leak detection, accompanied by authentic EN 10204 Type 3.1 Mill Test Certificates.

A Brass Double Ferrule Male Elbow is a 90-degree fitting with a twin-ferrule compression tube port on one end and a male pipe thread (NPT, BSPP, or BSPT) on the other, designed to connect tubing at a right angle into a female pipe thread.
It is specified whenever tubing must enter a female-threaded component at a right angle, avoiding the need to bend tubing tightly near the connection and keeping enclosure layouts orderly and compact.
Metric Series MPME covers 3mm to 25mm tube OD, and Fractional Series IPME covers 1/8″ to 1″ tube OD with male threads from 1/8″ to 1″.
Operating pressures up to 5,000 PSI (345 Bar) for sizes 1/8″ to 1/4″ and up to 3,200 PSI for 1/2″ size under ASME B31.3 standards.
Hot-forged brass conforming to ASTM B283 CW617N / C37700 or extruded brass bar stock ASTM B16 Alloy C36000.
Screw the male pipe thread into the female port using approved PTFE sealant. Then insert the tube squarely into the compression port, finger-tighten the nut, and tighten 1-1/4 turns with a wrench.
No. The heavy forged body provides high torsional resistance, ensuring that pipe torquing does not distort the ferrule seating cone.
Yes. The swaged tube joint can be remade repeatedly by retightening approx. 1/12 to 1/6 turn past snug.
Yes, certified helium leak tight (< 1 × 10⁻⁹ mbar·l/s) down to -750 mmHg vacuum.
EN 10204 Type 3.1 Material Test Certificates, hydrostatic test reports, and RoHS declarations.
