Engineered to blank off unused ports in double ferrule manifolds, valves, and tees, Pioneer Industries Brass Double Ferrule Tube Plugs feature a solid machined shoulder that seats directly into the fitting body taper, providing a bubble-tight seal up to 5,000 PSI.
The Brass Double Ferrule Tube Plug blanks off an unoccupied double-ferrule compression port in fittings, manifolds, or valves. It consists of a solid, precision-machined brass plug featuring a cylindrical stem that bottoms into the fitting body and an engineered shoulder that engages the fitting nut.
Unlike conventional plugs that require ferrules, the Pioneer Tube Plug uses the existing fitting nut without ferrules (or with pre-existing ferrules), directly compressing into the body seating cone. This creates an immediate, bubble-tight seal up to 5,000 PSI that can be removed and re-plugged without component replacement.
Manufactured by Pioneer Industries Mumbai and specified by instrumentation engineers worldwide for isolating unused ports in manifolds, valves, and test benches.
Components are precision CNC-machined from premium extruded brass (IS 319 / ASTM B16 / CW614N) with micro-smooth surface finishes. Every production lot undergoes rigorous metallurgical spectrometry, optical CMM dimensional checks, and helium leak detection, accompanied by authentic EN 10204 Type 3.1 Mill Test Certificates.

Machined from solid ASTM B16 brass bar stock, each plug features an optical-grade sealing surface that seats flush against the fitting body cone without scratching internal tapers.
Because the plug body does not swage or permanently deform, it provides an indefinite service life across hundreds of installation and removal cycles.
Metric ports 3 mm to 25 mm (MTP Series) and fractional ports 1/8" to 1" (ITP Series).

Expert engineering insights and technical guidance regarding swaging mechanics, pressure thresholds, tubing compatibility, and installation protocols for Brass Double Ferrule Tube Plug.
A Brass Double Ferrule Tube Plug is designed to isolate and seal an unused double-ferrule compression port on a fitting, manifold, or valve body.
A tube plug seals an empty fitting port, whereas a tube cap seals the open end of a bare tube.
No. The tube plug is engineered to seal directly into the fitting body using the existing nut, without requiring ferrules. If ferrules are already in the fitting, the plug can also be installed through them.
Insert the plug fully into the port, finger-tighten the fitting nut, and tighten only 1/4 turn with a wrench. Do not tighten 1-1/4 turns as you would with bare tubing.
Yes. Because there is no permanent deformation, the solid brass plug can be installed, removed, and reused indefinitely.
Metric Series MTP covers 3mm to 25mm port sizes, and Fractional Series ITP covers 1/8″ to 1″ port sizes.
Holds full working pressure up to 5,000 PSI (345 Bar), equal to the rating of the fitting body.
Precision CNC-machined from extruded brass bar stock ASTM B16 Alloy C36000 / CW614N.
Yes, certified leak-tight to < 1 × 10⁻⁹ mbar·l/s down to -750 mmHg vacuum.
EN 10204 Type 3.1 Material Test Certificates, hydrostatic pressure test reports, and dimensional compliance records.
